Official WATTBANK page says the add-on is supplied with Diamond's readily available market offer in the customer's region; any discounts or other benefits of that market offer continue to apply. SA reference retail schedule (not nationally assumed): Diamond Everyday single-rate no controlled load is $1.8005/day, 41.91c/kWh import and 3.10c/kWh export to a non-ABN household, with GST included in import and supply charges, effective 1 July 2026 (source sapn-current-retail). The $68 establishment fee is waived for new systems financed with Plenti. The official bill description retains ordinary feed-in credits and adds the WATTBANK credits separately. The indicative comparison uses only the verified SA single-rate Block 1 scope, including the conditional 2% supply/usage discount for on-time payment and email bills.

Compatible systems

Battery products the provider lists as supported. Some require a specific inverter pairing.

'Most models' by Sungrow and Alpha ESS. Minimums: 5 kWh usable battery, 5 kW solar, 3 kW inverter, smart meter and broadband with a spare Ethernet port. Growatt, GoodWe, Fronius and LG integrations are register-your-interest. A separate Green.com.au VPP variant ($300/yr + 40c/kWh overnight) exists for Green.com.au-installed systems.

How control works

Who decides when your battery discharges, and what you keep a say over.

Who dispatches
Diamond dispatches via its installed VPP controller (which remains Diamond's property) and may charge from the grid, shift usage times and limit excess solar. The provider does not publish a fixed reserve percentage; capacity is preserved for household use at Diamond's discretion. No dispatch app or per-event opt-out — the add-on can be cancelled at any time with no exit fee.
